This third portfolio in “The Five Elements Collection” was created in 1999 for le “Temps du Maroc” (Morocco Time).

Water, Wood, Air, Fire and Earth are the elements depicted in this work.

The delicate shadows of the roses floating in the water basin of a garden in Marrakech epitomize Water. An imposing door in Essaouira represents Wood.

The astonishing dragon-shaped argon tree blazing at sunset symbolizes Fire.

In the south, Earth is epitomized by the Dades Valley while Air is escorting us in Oualidia through the ruins of the former royal palace of King Mohammed V.

In keeping with the spirit of this collection, the elements represented have been written and translated into the language of the country. In this edition, they materialize through calligraphies on parchment papers.
